It's 300 A.D. and the gods and goddesses of lore command praise from half of Rome, but no one knows their secret - that they are not gods at all, but fallen angels who rebelled against God and were banished to Earth for it. Most of the gods are happier on Earth, spending their days manipulating mortals and reveling in their vices, but some, like Lucifer, crave the chaos that lives at the end of the world.
As punishment for his rebellion and desire for sin, Ashur was thrown out of Heaven and now prefers to spend his days drinking far too much wine and bedding beautiful women. He will do whatever it takes to preserve this life of leisure and debauchery - even if that means he must track down and kill the offspring of Lucifer before they can come of age and send the realms into war. A war-like apocalypse between Heaven and Hell that will force the fallen ones to become soldiers once again.
Earth's very existence rests in the hands of a debauched fallen angel, but with his freedoms on the line and whispers of a once-in-a-lifetime love affair on the horizon, Ashur is more motivated than ever to protect Earth from Lucifer's schemes.
