Then and only then can you consider what kind of replacement trees you want to plant, something YOU decide instead of the builder, the previous owner, or even bird droppings. A planned yard with proper Treescaping, that is, selecting specific trees for their beauty, hardiness, light requirements and space needs, is far superior to a yard with trees too close, trees in inappropriate spaces or downright dangerous trees due to a host of factors the homeowner may not be aware of.
