Travelogue Sketches

Straight from Zandro Tumaliuan's sketchbooks, this coffee table book contains drawings done while on personal and business trips in England, France, the United States, the Philippines and around his own backyard, Canada. Rather than taking photos, as an urban sketching aficionado the artist prefers to draw the scenery, the active street scenes, and the unique buildings that he sees. He prefers historic buildings and buildings with character. Because sketches are done on site, there is always the challenge of finding a good spot and having enough time to capture the "soul" of a structure. He is not particular with the details, such as the number of floors or the number of windows. Some of his sketches are simple, others are elaborate.
