Tom the Lion: A Picture-Perfect Day

Sid and Hazel call round to Tom the Lion's house on a rainy day. Hazel has received a box of paints for her birthday and Sid is teaching her how to paint. The Tom's Day series of children's books is based around three animal friends: Tom the Lion, and Sid and Hazel, who are both squirrels. Each story explores one of the New Economics Foundation's 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' and will be of particular benefit to children who have been through trauma or who struggle with their emotions. The series as a whole promotes literacy, wellbeing and mental health, and is centered on the popular Tom the Lion character from 'Sleeping Lions', an app used in elementary schools in the UK to help children calm down.
