The Sunset of Love is a contemporary love story about a man and a woman who were deeply in love. They had such an enviable relationship that was moving towards marriage. Nevertheless, separated by distance, the man became very fanatic about his religious service and activities. His extreme commitment to his religious activities and services soon became the force that started tearing down the beautiful relationship he has built for years. Ebitobho, who has been carrying out the appalling job of breaking the heart of every young woman that crosses his path finally falls in love with Juliet, a virgin and an old friend. The sunrise of their relationship soon became the envy of their friends and those within Ebitobho's neighbourhood. The sunset began to creep in when the storms of life blew against the foundation of their beautiful relationship. The strong foundation of their relationship was shaken by religious beliefs and they suddenly broke up. Ebitobho soon realized his mistake. He apologized and made efforts to win back Juliet, however, things have changed. The naïve girl he had met years ago has grown up, thus, reconciling with her was no longer as easy as he had thought. He did all he could do to win her back but his efforts were failing. Now, the big question is; will love prevail or it will fail? The Sunset of Love is fiction, nevertheless, the real-life experiences of people are engrafted into the work. The book is a love story. It pictures some of the excesses of peoples' beliefs, which affect most of our enviable relationships. The novel is very educating, entertaining, and captivating.
