The Space Between

Figuring out who you are and where you belong can be two of the most difficult things anyone can ever wonder about.
For Millicent Howell, these things have eluded her since she discovered she was adopted at a young age, with only a single letter connecting her to her true family. Yet, as she continues trying to piece together who she is, she finds further separation -- from her adoptive family, from Allison, her roommate and the closest thing to a best friend she has, and from herself. That is, until she receives an opportunity to travel across the country and meet the family she's spent almost her entire life dreaming about.
As she embarks on the cross-country road trip with Allison, their mysterious upstairs neighbor, and his oddball roommate, Millie begins to find that sometimes the answers you perpetually chase aren't always the ones you want to find. And that sometimes the space between two places can be frustrating, wonderful, and oftentimes a beautiful combination of the two.
