The world was safe because of them- until it wasn't.
The six Protectors of the planet Cadere and their creator, Time, are vowed to guide humanity through its development.
When one of the supposedly immortal Protectors dies at the hands of the First War, the remaining five are thrown into facing a difficult task: how can they salvage a crumbling civilization?
As the countries of Cadere are rapidly collapsing, each Protector struggles with their own solutions to the issue: an alliance, a dangerously illegal coup, a demanding search for a mystical stone, a partnership with the Creator of Cadere, or a refusal to participate entirely.
The 'mythical' Protectors work in an attempt to restore peace to the world they are dedicated to protect, but will they be able to do it without tensions rising within the group?
As the dysfunctional 'family' works through their grief and internal conflicts, trust is broken when secrets are unraveled and desperate choices lead to treacherous endings.
Though every outcome leads them back to the same question: will they be able to bring peace back to Cadere?
