The Pochaev Icon

The author introduces The Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God to the reader in a deeply personal narrative. During a difficult time in her life, she visited Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, New York, and was blessed to encounter a miracle-working copy of this icon which resides in the Church of Saint Job of Pochaev, located below Holy Trinity Cathedral. The original icon resides at the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra in Ukraine and is widely known for healing of the sick, helping in times of war, and many other documented miracles. The flow of miracles from this venerable icon continues to this day.
