The Misanthrope's Mansion

Leah's life has not been easy, to say the least. The love she has for her brother, Jordan, is unconditional; after everything they have been through, she's all he has. However, when Leah's aunt finds her a job and home as far away as possible, she has no choice but to accept. Separating from Jordan seems impossible, but Leah knows it's only temporary.

Lady Margaret is the head of the Misanthrope's Mansion, and she is quite the enigma. Nobody seems to know much about her, and her cold presence gives Leah the shivers. The mansion itself is something Leah could never have dreamed of, its beauty unmatched. Away from the constant hustle and bustle of everyday life, this estate in the heart of the English countryside is a peaceful safe haven. The horrors and tragedies of the world, like war and poverty, do not exist here. Leah welcomes the change but can't seem to shake the feeling of unease. It seems there is something a lot more sinister going on, and it doesn't take long for her to realise that everything is definitely not as it seems...
