The Cross Corona and Other Poems

The title proposed for the book of poems is the *THE CROSS CORONA
AND OTHER POEMS*
This book contains seventeen poems. About fourteen of them are
religious ones while the rest are of a general nature. The poems THE
ENEMY WITHIN, ASKING FOR THE SPECIAL G and GROUND ZERO
are introspective in nature and speak about envy, gratitude and humility
respectively.
SIN AND THE SAVIOUR and A VOLATILE MIX warn the reader of the
dangers of sin.
The sensitivity of the poet for those suffering in different situations
can be seen in the poems THE CALL OF THE FATHER, DREAMS FOR A
DAUGHTER DEAR and UNDER HIS WINGS.
The expression of the poet's gratitude for God's goodness
and intervention are seen in the poems BREAKFAST TIME
UNSHACKLED, PEACE OF GOD and THE RISING SUN.
THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CROSS deals with the corporate and
personal aspects of the cross related to the recent pandemic.
The rest of the poems ate reflections on a variety of themes
like ingratitude, faith and reason, wisdom and silence in the poems
PASSING INTO NOTHINGNESS, THE TWIN BLESSINGS OF THE
CREATOR, THE WAY OF WISDOM and SILENCE IS GOLD respectively
Finally, the poem HAVE LOTS, WILL SPEAK shows how lots can be used
as a method of selecting leaders and the importance of listening to
God's word in doing what is right .
