The Book of Job

Most books about Job try and explain why God allowed, or even engineered, evil to devastate Job's life. Usually, the theme is that God is mysteriously at work, and our sufferings are inexplicable and part of His will for our lives. Some would say that the Book of Job explains why good people suffer, but they often conclude that there is no reason.
This book is very different.
This book will change the way you read the book of Job forever. God was not after Job. He was not sending evil or allowing evil. He was not throwing Job a curve ball. Instead, God was doing all He could to bless Job, and the blessing came when Job aligned with God's will.
This book will not leave you powerless, waiting for a capricious God to allow terrible disasters to wreck your life. Instead, this book will liberate you from fear, strengthen your faith, and help you see that God does not want evil to afflict you. Jesus said in John 10:10 and 11 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep," This is the heart of God for you as it was for Job. The blame for what happened to Job was not God's. After reading this book, you will know that 'God didn't do it.'
