The Blantyre Project - A Journey in Time Volume 2 is the second massive collection of tales, folklore, old stories, anecdotes, photos and historical information about the town of Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. Author Paul Veverka writes, "This is a follow up to the popular and well received first Blantyre Project book. A Journey in Time Volume 2, at 232 pages is 40% larger than the first book. Blantyre is evolving so fast these days. Local people are often generally indifferent to previous historical infrastructure, architectural changes, old news and tales of Blantyre from days gone by. It's only human to be caught up in our current lives. The Blantyre Project aims to collate some deeper history, some of the folklore, fun and passed down tales. This includes old archived photos for anybody, of any age who is interested in how this wonderful town came to be.
