Ten and a Half Miles

A gentle adventure story about a woman who, more accustomed to leisurely swimming followed by cake, decides to swim the ten and a half mile length of Windermere. Why? Good question! A journey of self discovery through wild swimming, during the lockdowns and challenges of 2020, culminating in a swim attempt on the day of Storm Francis.
