Om South Of Guadarrama
This is a romance set in 10th-century Córdoba during the Umayyad dynasty. Between historical characters such as Al-Mansur or Almanzor and the Sultuna Subh or Aurora in its Latin name, fictional characters intertwine with historical facts, experiencing loves, betrayals, emotions, and the dangers of a time of Muslim splendor during the Islamic conquest of Hispania in the tenth century.
The exact historiography of the events of the time about historical characters is maintained.
The relative and dangerous harmony between the three monotheistic religions shown in the narrative is lost in the West's troubled relationship with the Middle East today.
Two plots run in parallel and intertwine. The first involved the attempt to rescue power for Hisham II, overshadowed by the ambition of Almanzor, and the second in the intricacies of the famous Library of the Palace of Al-Zahara, when the discovery of a manuscript of the Koran could change the fate of Islam and its faithful. The Sierra de Guadarrama is a mountain range of the Central System (mountain system in the center of the Iberian peninsula). The Muslim domains, based in Córdoba, were located south of this mountain range.
