Fresh-out-of-a- bad-relationship New York City single, Sofia La Scala, a finance executive, carves out time once a week for happy hour with her best friend Chloe in search for Mr. Right. But when Chloe can't make it out one night, Sofia meets seductive billionaire, Alex Chambers. The two immediately connect and begin flirt-filled exchanges that heat up rapidly and eventually lead to a steamy romance in the Penthouse Suite of a high-end luxury hotel.

The relationship challenges Sofia's norms and flings her into a world of fantasy, role playing and lust. While Sofia is more than satisfied with her sexual romps with Alex, despite warnings from her girlfriends, she dreams of a more serious relationship.
It all seems too good to be true. Which of course, means it probably isn't.

Trouble begins when a security breach takes place at Sofia's company, and the IT expert brought in to fix it just so happens to have Alex's firm on his resume. Simple coincidence, right? Then there's a glitch in the finances which she can't seem to rectify, what does it all mean? Is Alex connected? Is he being upfront with her?
