are political, religious, historical overtones. And there are magic, folklore, kabbalah, and netherworld undertones.
This is the third resurrection of Count Dracula in this story format (Anthelion, Fultus, and Lulu). The Count is always busy in this Levant storyline--many characters, many encounters. The text reminds one of Bram Stoker.
