Om S-Curves
It wasn't until Amanda was forty-two that she discovered her talent for writing when she stopped procrastinating and began to document the very special relationship she had with her grandfather as a child. As she began writing, she discovered it was impossible to convey the importance of the relationship without also writing about the numerous traumas she experienced. In doing so, she learns more about her family, their motivations-and herself. Amanda thought this would be the only thing she would write, but she kept writing, and writing, and writing. The result is this collection of memoir, personal essays, fiction, and poetry, all beautifully written, and told in a warm and inviting voice.
