Om Rebledo
Luis is just a young man in his teens when he suddenly finds himself alone in the world of sixteenth-century Spain. Destitute and with nowhere to turn, he is taken in by Nicolas, the Count de Rebledo, who gives him employment and shelter in his household. Little does Luis realize just how much the count's kind gesture will change his life. He will come to question who he is and how his actions affect the world around him, eventually turning his naivety into wisdom that will help him accept himself, and grow personally as well as in social status. This new wisdom will be needed as he navigates the complex and power-hungry court of King Philip II. Finally, he will need to summon all his knowledge and put aside his fears to survive and thrive in a world that does not want to accept him because of who he is, and his past.
