Om Politics, Prophesy, and The Pillage of the Church
In this book, Niyi emphasized that Christians are residents of the earth and citizens of heaven and identified transformations necessary for every Christian before they can appreciate who they are and what the Lord expects of them. He also explained the attitudes and behaviors expected of individuals named after the name of the Lord as they present themselves as the salt of the earth and the light of the world. The author expressed dismay at the use of the spiritual gift of prophecy to the detriment of the Church as an example of the flaw in the leadership of the Church. He lamented the devil's entrance into the Church's fold and emphasized the need to identify the devil's agents and flush them out of the believer's community. Finally, he advised the Church to repair and guard its walls to prevent another imminent attack from the accuser of the brethren. Dr. Niyi Olusoji was born and had his early years in Nigeria, West Africa, where he trained and worked as a Nurse Anesthetist. He also worked in healthcare in Southern Africa, the United Kingdom, and currently in the United States. He met the Lord in the course of his career, pursued a ministry education, and got ordained twice, first as a Deacon and secondly as a Pastor. He is currently involved in the training of future generations of health workers and still answering the Call as a Preacher of the Words of Life. His passion for the souls of believers, the health of the Church, and concern about the Church's deviation from its primary purpose of preparing souls for God's Kingdom informed the writing of this book. Niyi is married with children and enjoys reading and meditation.
