NEW MORNING OF THE PASTURE: POETIC REFLECTIONS OF A KOREAN AMERICAN PASTOR is by Rev. Manwoo A. Kim of The First Korean Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. Rev. Kim is one of the most senior Korean pastors in the Greater Philadelphia area and is a living testimony of the history of the Korean churches in the area. Rev. Kim has served as the chairman of the Pan-Korean Churches Council in Philadelphia, an ecumenical council whose membership includes nearly 100 per cent of the Korean Christian churches in the area. Currently, the Rev. Kim serves as one of the board members of the National Missionary Council of Korean Churches, which includes membership of nearly all the Korean Christian churches in the North America across denominational lines.
