Neglected Classics of Philosophy Volume 2 consists of twelve newly written chapters by top scholars on unjustly neglected philosophical texts that they argue deserve fresh attention today. Many of the contributors discuss the meta-philosophical features of the works discussed and how these can be salient today, and they also reflect on the gendered, racial, and cultural patterns of exclusion in the development of the contemporary philosophical canon.
