Nanodentistry has brought forth nanoscale information which has been beneficial for diagnosis, prevention and management of oral diseases thereby showing marked improvement in dental health. Nanodentistry has applications in various fields of dentistry like oral medicine and radiology, periodontics, pedodontics, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, conservative dentistry and endodontics though it still faces many challenges.
