At age twelve she migrated with her parents and sevensiblings from Shetland to Tasmania, Australia. She graduated with an R.N. degree, andset out across the pacific to U.S.A. enroute back to Scotland, where she had beenaccepted into a graduate program. However, she met and married her engineer husband inDenver, Colorado. They have four children and seven grandchildren.She is well known as a speaker and teacher in both the U.S., and overseas.
