Judges

The book of Judges makes no attempt to be cosmetic. It openly portrays wickedness among the people of God. Since there is essentially one church in all ages, Judges has big implications for us in the 21st century. The numerous offences confronted by the Judges in Israel are in our own family tree. Are we repeating them? With modern examples this book shows why denial is impossible.
Although Judges is an old book, thirty centuries removed from us, it speaks powerfully to our generation. We are thrilled as it reveals the amazing grace of God.
