Metamorphic poetry is all about inspiration - finding poetry in writings of other poets. As such it is no different than students of art sitting in a museum and absorbing the skill and passion of the Masters before embarking on their own future museum pieces. In a conceptual sense, metamorphic poetry occupies the space between blatant copying of earlier poems and standing way back but appending the words 'after' or 'inspired by' at the end of newly crafted work. In this volume, Dr. Stone deals with the concepts of plagiarism and copyright before delving into a description of types of metamorphism and presenting examples of the various types.
