I'm Fine

2019 - I lost my husband. Jake truly was the love of my life; married for eleven years, together for twenty-four. Jake wasn't a sick person and shrugged off any minor illness.>It was unexpected and very almost destroyed me. My story, I believe, highlights not only how I reacted and dealt with the pain, but also how others reacted to both their own pain and mine. This is how I handled my own grief. It's not necessarily the right way or the wrong way, but it is how I managed the utter pain... mainly through good humour and bad decisions.
