I Wish

Star loves the day. He loves the sun, the warmth, the light, and most of all, Star loves the people. But the people don't seem to love Star back. In fact, the people seem quite indifferent to Star's presence, ignoring him no matter how brightly he shines and twinkles for them. This makes Star feel like he doesn't belong. In a moment of frustration, Star runs away into the night. On his journey, Star experiences something that's never happened to him before: his points grow tingly as three children far below point up and wish upon him. Could it be that Star never belonged in the day, at all?
