Om How to Avoid Loneliness
One in three individuals suffer from loneliness, a condition that is prevalent. It can cause sadness and suicide while harming the immune system and brain. Even more so than obesity and smoking, loneliness can raise the chance of dying too soon. Even if you get enough sleep, you don't feel rested throughout the day if you're lonely, and you often feel more anxious in circumstances where others are handling things better.
In recent years, loneliness has also grown. In the US, there are now around a third more people living alone than there were in the 1980s. When asked how many individuals they can trust, Americans' responses decreased from three in 1985 to two in 2004.
Today, many people experience loneliness. But loneliness is a complex issue since it doesn't always have to do with the number of friends or people you chat to. Even if there are many of people around you, loneliness might persist. In the movie World's Greatest Dad, comedian Robin Williams said the following:
I had believed that becoming alone would be the worst possible outcome. Not at all. Finding yourself in a lonely relationship is the worst thing that can happen in life
