"What a great book - and so timely! Stephan has encapsulated the heart of the world's spiritual wisdom and offers a simple tool that brings the reader into direct experience of his and her own connection with the Source. If you've been looking and reaching for a way out of the maze of this world, you will find Gone Into God a wonderful help and support." Andrea Joy Gietz, Author and Creator of The Moving Hearts Guide to Real Relating. Despite of our planetary human predicament with all of our limitations, fears, worries, our daily survival stress, we human beings all sense, adore and love a perhaps very tiny, warm, tender, and fulfilling space of unconditional love inside. I like to use the metapher of a tiny flower that we all have experienced inside that is so irresistably nourishing and so full of a warm tender flow of love and light. Entering this tiny flower feels may feel like entering paradise on earth or like resting in a encompassing flow of light inside. I strongly believe that everything we undertake on this planet, all the projects we start, all the relationships we more or less enjoy are unconsciously in existence to get closer or even inside this tiny little flower of divine love and light. So what can we do to water this little beautiful flower inside? In this book, I like to invite us into starting a research project about this irresistable flower. How can we get to know more about this flower? Does this flower want something from us? Are we separated from this flower? How can we dive deeper into the flower? How can we deal with what we strongly feel und believe is keeping us away from experiencing this flower? Stephan Wilmes. M.A. was born in 1963 into a family with a Christian background in Germany. Since teenage years he was suffering from serious trauma, depression and a lack of a real perspective. Stephan's first real love was something you could call the resonance of "Christ-consciousness" He experienced it as a warm and light state of being able to love other human beings despite not liking them on a personal level. Lacking the knowledge and structure to pursue a deeper, real nourishing way of being inside, he started his search for true lasting fulfillment and love. Turning lots of stones he was searching for happiness in many corners of this world: Stephan pursued a sports career, an academic career, a spiritual teacher career, and really tried hard to find real love in looking for his "soul mate" partner. His search for happiness leads him to meditate in Indian ashrams, facilitating seminars in Bali and California, and studying with various contemporary spiritual teachers. Stephan found what he was looking for and lives now in Edmonton, Canada with his beloved wife Alice and their 4 kids.
