From Here and There

Twenty-two thousand pictures were taken around the globe for ten years. These are images of bodies and rituals, that I called Reg'art. They appeared to me as works of art, body works... These views have a point in common: they all show a naked reality with no special effects. Watching, but also knowing how to listen, feeling, the entertainment of these spiritual, rituals and celebrations... letting ourselves falling into the hallucinatory. This work combines the calendar rites, religious or initiatory. It also combines captures of expressions, soft or violent emotions, testimony of the strength of our traditional and mythological heritage, painting the rites and customs of primitive peoples.
