A new book by Alexander Fayn "Forward over the graves!" (Goebbels' secret weapon) analyses some little-known propaganda mechanisms of the Third Reich. The main part of the book is devoted to the so-called "mini poster of the party" - the leaflet "Wochenspruch der NSDAP", an extremely effective propaganda mechanism of the Nazis, generally underrepresented in European specialised literature and completely unknown in Russian. The author introduces and carefully justifies a new concept - targeted propaganda. This targeted propaganda is aimed at ordinary citizens. Alexander Fayn reveals the psychological mechanisms of the propagandistic indoctrination of a citizen, and it becomes clear how the misanthropic ideas of Nazism managed to take over the minds of the vast majority of German citizens, turning them into anti-Semites and committed murderers. After reading this book, one begins to re-evaluate modern propaganda methods and see their effectiveness and potential differently. The book contains a large number of previously unknown propaganda documents from the time of the Third Reich. It is noteworthy that all visual materials and artifacts used in this edition come from the author's personal archive and have not been published anywhere before.
