Et tu, Cavapoo?

From Mark: In March 2024 I decided to take time out from my less than hectic broadcasting job to live in Rome for a few months. I'm not a natural traveller really, but there are two places where I've felt immediately at home - almost as if I've lived there before in a previous life. I felt totally attuned to Rajasthan which is odd as it is notably dissimilar to the North West of England.So it was that Bella, Arlo and I set off on a road trip in our VW Beetle to take us there via Reims, Strasbourg, Lucerne, Bellagio on Lake Como and Bologna. What follows is in no sense a guide book but rather a record of our Roman ramblings, in both senses of the word, as seen through the eyes of Arlo. He can't speak of course. He's a dog. But I'm pretty confident that this was what was going on inside his head.
