Enjoying God

After living a life of selfishness, disgrace, and debauchery, the rebellious, but now destitute, son returns home expecting nothing more than the wrath and scorn of a righteous father. But what he finds is a wonderful, forgiving, accepting, happy king who offers a ring and robe of royalty. The son is overwhelmed. Like a pauper finding a billion-dollar treasure in a field. The king then throws a huge celebration in his prodigal son's honor. How could this father be so good, so forgiving, so loving. It is surely too good to be true. And now, this wonderful father puts his arm around his son and says, "I love you with an everlasting love. There is nothing you can do to make me love you any more or any less than I do right now. I want to teach you some amazing things about life, about relationships, about eternity. I want to guide your steps and direct your paths and put miracles in your life both big and small.
