This publication is meant as a guide in your journey to becoming a fully trained electrician. It is best used as a guideline for proper industry practices, and can be used in conjunction with an apprenticeship electrical education program. The information found within this text should provide ample information needed for education, training, and testing.
Every procedure needed to completely install electrical systems from start to finish in residential and commercial structures can be found with full color illustrations in this work. Years of research and over 50 combined years of electrical knowledge as master electricians were used in the making of this publication. Subjects such as background, tools, safety, electrical box types and installation, cable and conductor types, conduit bending and installation, electrical service, home runs, panels and breakers, receptacles, switches, grounding and bonding, GFCI, and AFCI are included. Every chapter is accompanied by chapter review questions.

It is utilized as the primary source for proper industry techniques and safety guidelines and is provided by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA®).
