Mrs. Chatterjee is in her late thirties, the mother of two grown children, the wife of a well-established man. She faces the challenges of her life with firm optimism and has everything that a woman could ask for-Yet she feels deprived. Soon, she discovers an unexpected truth, and her intelligence and maturity are put to a test that breaks her and leaves her with no option but to research and redefine herself.

Shubham Sarkar, the son of a very well-reputed filmmaker, has a troubled past that torments in both, his dreams and his waking hours. Reserved and self-centred, this young man has no faith in relations. His differences with his father and his mother's unnatural death have left him with a dissatisfying, disorderly life-until he meets Mrs. Chatterjee.

Shubham arrives as an unwelcome guest in the Chatterjee household, and what starts as a compromise soon turns into a fondness and develops into a bond stronger than they had anticipated. Their connection is undeniable, but only time will tell what havoc it will wreak in both their lives.
