Om Diary of a Dead Boy
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The death of the soul is the death of dreams, and there one finds wandering who reads the sad pages of that diary, filled with immeasurable tears and despair, left by one who died in complete solitude when he didn't even think he was all alone.
Only the kindred soul who knows how to feel empathy towards his memories by identifying himself with them, will finally be able to see the key to his torment and open the doors behind which his broken dreams and his fears are hidden.
There where fervent obsessions roam exiles he will learn much of the ephemeral light that as soon as it leaks is immediately hidden by the imperishable darkness, which sustains the human soul.
Peering into the darkest abysses veiled by vain illusions he will see his true self, losing himself and inexorably finding himself in an infinite limbo studded with uncertainties, while the eternal night of his soul does not seem to want to let any dawn shine through, because it will be able to only followed by a slow and inexorable sunset, as excruciating as it is assiduously feared, which now becomes relentless in its progress, now that the residual hopes are forever shattered.
Now lost, the only light that shines through his soul is none other than the fervent darkness, which fatuous illuminates his path even before the stale mists present on the horizon can vanish.
Apparently the body lives even if one is dead inside, but that is nothing but pure illusion, due to the indeterminate expansion of an omnipresent death, which remains stale in the heart and soul of the human being, whose fragile body is nothing else becomes an empty prison of his afflicted spirit and his obsessions, while his thoughts are shaken by fervent remorse and immeasurable regrets, which fragile illusions cannot long hide in the oblivion that the unconscious pervades, before the inexorable and cruel reality breaks into it with all its indescribable horror. ABOUT THE AUTHORS We, the authors of this book, have built our basic culture on the fashions of generation X and we are passionate about the gothic atmospheres of films such as The Crow, or the crepuscular Requiem for a dreams, but we also greatly appreciated the adolescent themes, which are treated in Paranoid park.
We also adore silent cinema, especially expressionist cinema and neorealism, as well as the dramas of Nordic and Anglo-Saxon cinema.
We listen to the grunge music of Nirvana, and the melodic metal of bands like Evanescence.
In the literary field we adore the great classics of past centuries, and in particular gothic literature and dramas, without neglecting romanticism and poetry, which are infused in our works, because we want to share our passions, which shed light on the evils that afflict our society and our existence.
