Brigid

The fifth book in the Brigid Adventures series. Returning home after a scary adventure in Canada and Montana, an older woman warns Brigid to beware of three witches. Over a month behind in school, possibly needing to repeat the whole school year, suddenly her arch enemies, Darla, Cara and Lisa are helping tutor her to catch up in school. All the while, her best friend will have nothing to do with her. Even stranger, when her mom hears the name Paholainen came to her when playing a game, terror feels her mom's face. As strange events unfold, she wonders who is Paholainen and why is her mom afraid of her. Is she one of the three witches? Are Darla and her two friends the witches the woman warned her about? Or, are the three witches just in reference to a play Lisa talks about. As new friendships grow and new enemies appear, reality and magic seem to collide.
