The first day of his clinical rotation he was met by Dr. John Hans Menkes at UCLA and was inspired for the rest of his career to treat patients with compassion and humor. To the last day as a practitioner and a patient who was a survivor from 1997 to 2014 of cancer. His passion for treating patients and love his for his children inspired him. His oldest son is an ex Green Beret and in 4th year medical school.
