At the Head of the Tide

In the 1890s, an unforgettable, loveable family tumble together in a company house in Millville, New Jersey, provided by the glass factory where Ev's father works as a glass blower. Ev, barely ten, lives with mom and pop and two brothers. This marvelous family tale is marked by humorous events and tragic ones, too: mom's pregnancy, a fi re in the livery, the explosion on the Fourth of July, the struggle to keep Ev's brother in school - and, beyond the factory gates, the Jersey Devil scare.
