Daphne, a young Jewish Greek artist, finds her life under threat during the Nazi occupation of Athens. In 2023 Liverpool, fine art restorer Flora is planning her Granny Daphne's 100th birthday. Nearing the end of her life, Daphne tells Flora of a valuable piece of art from her youth.
