Born and raised in Chicago to Irish immigrant parents, Dr. Kate Ryan is forensic pathologist and medical examiner for the Chicago Crime Lab, consultant to Ireland’s national police force the Gardia, and part time FBI profiler with the bureau’s Behavior Analysis Unit. Kate was born with many ‘gifts’ as her maternal grandmother ‘Grand’ calls her psychic abilities.
