A Matter of Days

As his world collapses around him in the autumn of 1529 Thomas Cromwell is filled with indecision. He wrestles with his conscience and finally commits to separating from Cardinal Wolsey and seeking a seat in parliament. but that parliament is called to resolve Henry VIII's great issue of divorce and there are powerful forces that do not want Cromwell there to distract from that by saving Wolsey's life. Cromwell's protege Ralph Sadler is tasked to find a parliamentary seat but finds himself investigating murders that are too close to home. Has the past come back to haunt Cromwell and to ensure he falls alongside Wolsey or can Sadler put his grief aside and bring about events in only a matter of days that will change the course of history.
