In this book, Kennedy shares his perspectives on the current situation in Ghana. According to Kennedy, the NPP as a party needs more than a change in its constitution. It requires "a shift in attitude, a change in behaviours and a new ethic."Kennedy served as Chairman of the NPP Communications Committee in 2008 after failing in his presidential bid for the flagbearer-ship of the NPP that same year. Kennedy is a strong advocate for reasonable and responsible governance rooted in Constitutionalism. He believes in a government based on a social contract with the people: "Waban." Kennedy has also authored two books: Chasing the Elephant into the Bush-- Politics of Complacency, and The Drug Invasion of West Africa.
