  • av Bonnie-George & IV Tedder

We are always told to forgive others, loving your enemies as yourself, but what about when it comes to forgiving our Heavenly Father for unanswered prayers and delayed blessings? Author Bonnie-George Tedder IV can attest to this questioning of God: having served prison unjustly, endured a failed marriage and uncertainty on what he could make of life. He infuses his testimony with principles of forgiveness in his new advice guide, Forgiving God...and others, where he hopes to educate readers on what is forgiveness and how to convey forgiveness as love toward God, others and self. Understanding forgiveness can help readers forgive their pasts, forgive transgressions and hurts of others, and "forgive" God for the lessons He imparts through life's challenges. Bonnie-George shares how God brought him through the storm of difficulties and that he had to trust God to answer prayers, knowing God was using him for a greater purpose.

This book answers the following questions: 1. What happens at the time of salvation? 2. How can we know that we are saved? 3. Will we recognize our loved ones in Heaven? 4. How to explain three days and three nights? 5. Should we worry when we think may be our loved one died unsaved? 6. Will a good and perfect God send someone to Hell to burn forever and ever? The King James Bible has stood the test for over 400 years without change. It will interpret itself and be its own dictionary. I will never use an "or phrase" from the Bible to prove a point of view unless it harmonizes with the whole Bible, God's unchanged word. The book concludes with about thirty weeks of Bible study for new and growing Christians.

  • - Coming Into Grace
    av Candace M Respress
    175,-

How could this come to be? She was raised attending a Baptist church and had asked Jesus Christ to come into her heart at age seven. However, author Candace M. Respress found herself slipping into the homosexual lifestyle and acting on thoughts/emotions that she began wondering about at a young age. In her autobiography, Coming Out: Coming Into Grace, Candace recalls that the attraction to both men and women began when she was only a girl, which became intensified after she and her brother were molested by an aunt. As Candace grew up, she tried to make sense of her feelings toward women in secret as she excelled in sports and had boyfriends that were more like good friends. Her secret attraction became a reality when Candace entered college and began a relationship with a fellow female teammate. She also became more involved in the gay community and even attended a gay-friendly church with another girlfriend. Deep inside though, Candace felt she was betraying the God who loved her and was subjecting herself to one trap after another, set by Satan to push her more into the homosexual lifestyle. Candace's story does begin to turn around, as she found herself attending a church that welcomed her with open arms, with no judgment toward her and her choices in life. She started to feel God's love surging inside of her, prompting her to re-dedicate her life to God again and live life following Christ. Her story is far from over, as she continues to strengthen her identity in Christ and display to others she no longer embraces the homosexual lifestyle, but Candace's hope is that her story will inspire others to choose God over sin and escape the eternal loneliness that homosexuality will always bring.

Living a life alone he spends time reminiscing about the joys of the past and about the challenges of the future. Author describes his pilgrimage away and back to the Catholic Church to demonstrate the power of grace and the strong fulfillment in doctrine and tradition that the church offers. It is a journey that began just as it started an away pursuit unbeknown to the author. The march away was really a march inward to a church already established in heart and mind. I took a lifetime but it was not quite a life of a prodigal in a far country; but, a search for an immediate presence of Jesus in life.

Growing up in rural western Pennsylvania offered limited opportunities for the future but I fortunately enjoyed a satisfying engineering career. Three memorable events led to that outcome. The first resulted from a bicycle trip to visit a classmate who was not home so I visited another. Bill showed me his ham radio set and I was absolutely captivated. He graciously gave me a 1958 copy of The Radio Amateurs Handbook which taught me about vacuum tube electronics. A few years later the high school counselor suggested the engineering school at Youngstown State University as an alternative to an electronics technical school. My dad was ecstatic and took a second mortgage to pay for the first year. After graduation, I was drafted into the Army and sent to Fort Knox for boot camp. At Fort Knox, my Drill Sergeant introduced me to the gospel of Jesus Christ which caused me to ponder the supernatural in general and, years later, Divine creation in particular. I was taught evolution in biology and I believed it. Subsequent years of reading evolutionary and creation materials eventually led me to read Richard Dawkins' book The Blind Watchmaker. Publishing a book was not on my bucket list and my English teachers would surely scoff at the idea. This book began as a journal that evolved into an engineering report of sorts. It documents my learning experience from delving into the scientific merit of Darwinian evolution when juxtaposed with Divine creation.

Ms. Jacox writes with simple, measured grace. As she explores the relationship of Myra and Hunt Allen, in a marriage that is both delicate and fierce, she draws readers into the apparently sweet, quiet world of their rural community. Yet, the secrets that simmer under the surface of their lives cannot lie quiet forever. With exquisite precision, Ms. Jacox builds the tension of her narrative to a conclusion that is as startling as it is redemptive. -Joanna Beresford After marriage, Hunt and Myra Allen settled outside a small community named Palm Creek in Appalachia. Once established there, it became very clear that the town's life centered on events surrounding its coal mine. After an explosion of the same, our young couple learns, through experience, how to journey over the devastation the blast left behind, and finally come to a favorable destination. Doris Jacox inherited her imagination from her mother. Her mom's many entertaining stories often alleviated sometimes stressful situations in the home. As the result of listening to her mother, she too found herself telling those vivid tales in her head to others At the behest of others, she took steps to learn how to put on paper what was going on in her mind. She began by studying fictional writing at Ohio State University. These classes have contributed to her ability to transfer her fancies into book forms so that people may read and enjoy. She has written many articles for friends, projects, family, and church functions. She plans to publish other books soon.

Unlike something we own, stewardships are not a possession. They are a trusteeship we serve for a time in accordance with God's will. The distinction between ownership and stewardship is not always clear in practice or perception. Many owners of vast resources have genuine hearts of trusteeship, while some trustees are unaware of the extraordinary stewardship in their care. Wherever we are on this spectrum, everyone is a trustee of something God has provided. There are no exceptions. In Give Me Service, you will find clarity and guidance for those fulfilling their purpose through stewardship. Through the narrative of life events, Bill demonstrates how God has appointed each one of us a special gift of service. For it is by God's providence and purpose we are inspired and enabled to serve all that He trusts to our care (sacred stewardships). By God's grace, the author is the son of William and Betty Linn Rutherford. Born and raised in Michigan, with Canadian roots and family homes in Michigan, Maryland, Florida, California and Utah. The author's love of trees is the inspiration God provided to cultivate a forestry career and train his spirit of stewardship and service. The author is blessed to share in praise and worship of our Lord at Calvary Chapel New Life in Midway, Utah.

Praise for Leonard A. Slade, Jr.'s "I, Too, Am America" "I, Too, Am America" is a literary statement in poetry which evokes an array of emotions while educating the reader on years of black history. Emotions are evoked as we are taught and reminded in vivid poetic terms the history of a people. And through the words we learn more about history and non-history makers, big and small, and the people who have made us and Leonard A. Slade, Jr., who we are and have helped to shape America. Interspersed within the work are individual poems paying tribute to those who have or might have played roles in Leonard A. Slade, Jr.'s maturation into one of current America's leading poets. He wrestles with themes bringing clarity and succinctness to a history which makes it more understandable as if it was an anthology. Slade has rung the bell with this volume of poetry. - Raymond M. The fundamental thesis of this book is the fact that God is a God of RESTORATION. God wants to restore His children of everything that the devil and the world have plundered from us. The greatest treasure He wants to restore is our personal relationship with Him. For this to happen we must submit to God in obedience and live under the principles of His "government" that is under the principles of the Kingdom of God. God will seize the bounty that has been plundered from us by the enemy of our souls. This will start by us seizing the "Vision of the Kingdom of God" which is the "hidden treasure" available to all of us when we decide to submit to His authority and do His will. God is raising up and army of men and women with such love and passion for Jesus, kings and priests, to serve the Father by investing in the expansion of the Kingdom of God taking the good news of Jesus to all confines in the earth. The "Vision of the Kingdom of God" was central and so dear to Jesus's heart that is mentioned more than 100 times in the New Testament. This is the reason the enemy of our souls has come to kill, rob and destroy but Jesus has come to give us life and life in abundance. God will seize and deliver to His people the bounty that has been plundered from us: - The Vision of the Kingdom of God. - Our Identity as Children of God. - The Joy of Salvation. The author, Humberto Tomasino, is a business consultant who through a personal encounter with Jesus at the age of 46 years old, found the meaning, the joy and the purpose for his life. He serves at his church as a facilitator of a men's bible group and leading a team of Spanish translators. He has been married to his wife Marta for 38 years and they have 4 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.

How could God not bring a miracle? This question continued to play in author Ginger Dannhaus' head, as she grappled with her mother's death from a rare autoimmune disease. Before she could handle her grief, Ginger witnessed her dad's remarriage to an untrustworthy woman that she didn't approve. Ginger didn't know God personally, being confused by the Bible, but Ginger shares how she found restoration through God in her new autobiography, Giving God Glory. One right after the other, Ginger began to experience God encounters that encouraged her family to move into the country and face challenges of life together. Even when she was diagnosed with a neuro-autoimmune disease, Ginger found hope through the Bible and felt God gave insight into how to care for her health. Included in the book are also several selections of her written prophetic poetry: all to prove when much is given, much is required.www.gingerdannhaus.com
