This book is an autobiographical account of a few events in my life that made me who I am today! It reveals my battle of spiritual warfare and other childhood events that helped to shape and birth the ministry Yahweh placed within me. In My Story 2 you will see that I had to learn how to conquer some things, weigh some things by GOD's word, learn his voice, had to grow up physically, spiritually, naturally and mentally to carry the mantle that Yahweh had for me. I had to yield completely to His word, will, and His way! John Kennedy Brown was born in Tallulah, La. He has been ministering for 35 years. Yahweh(GOD) has placed a special teaching and prophetic anointing on his life. This anointing has enlightened thousands of people and brought understanding to the body of Jesus Christ. John has ministered on television, radio, and has written several books. He founded Knowledge Explosion International Ministries.

Trials will arise in our lives, that much is true. However, there are benefits of trials in life, as God uses trials and suffering to show genuine faith. This belief is firmly conveyed through the book of James, as James' letter to the churches discusses helping hurting people with similar journeys through suffering. Author Steven Swaim explores this topic of journey through suffering in his new devotional study, Walking Faith; Journey Through James. The book was first words of encouragement in emails Steven shared with others, which developed from emails into a book to offer insight on James and building godly character in trials. Steven uses James' words to instruct readers on treating all with respect and how words can influence life for others enduring suffering. As we strengthen godly character through the trials we face, we can help those around us, whether in the church or in the community.

In My Father's House: There Were No Mansions tells the true story about a childhood home that was just a house headed by a father who was a preacher. It was also occupied by his wife and eight children yet somehow, the house was empty. The story is told from the voice of one of the children, a young girl who was molested by her half brother when she was a child. The parents mentality shrouded by religion allowed the tragedy to continue in secrecy as the family lived what appeared to be a normal life in the inner-city. As a result of her parents not dealing with the abuse head on, the author learned to suppress her pain. In fact, she did that so well that her memories were buried deep inside until she became an adult. As an adult, all that she suppressed would cause her to explode in anger without reason.

As she stared into the coffin, she leaned down and whispered to her mother to wake up. Denise Bristol-Gordon was just a young child when her mother passed away and had to bottle up her grief internally, as only a child trying to understand death can do. Fifty years from that date, Denise still finds the day hard to endure, especially considering that her mother's funeral was on Christmas Day. However, the year of 2016 marked a change of heart and change of approach for Denise toward her grieving process. She wanted to remember her mother for the love and wisdom she shared, so Denise wrote a heartfelt tribute to her late mother on social media. Countless responses from her tribute post led Denise to learn treasured memories of her mother from others and to reconnect with family, which inspired the writing of her new book, In Pursuit of Purpose. In her book, Denise recalls her strongest need for her mother when she suffered a miscarriage of her first child and missed the comfort a mother could bring to such a devastating situation. Now a mother of three, Denise believes the situation was the opportunity for God to step in and remind her of His love and healing for her in times of need. The biblical lessons of her mother are also presented in the book, revealing what Denise learned of guidance for life within the scriptural truths of Hannah, Job, the unnamed woman with the issue of blood and more. Lastly, Denise's memories of her mother aren't the only thoughts shared, as several of her beloved family members write about the ways her mother touched and encouraged their lives in her brief time on Earth. Fifty years of struggles with grief produced a blessing from God to Denise with In Pursuit of Purpose, a meaningful reflection on a woman who impacted many.

This Christian nonfiction book describes the many ways that God has blessed us. Through His promises we see how He loves us and gives us all the ability to use our lives to spread His Word. Through biblical reference the author explains how we can all see God's gifts in our lives every day and experience the strength, grace, and love He offers. Through prayer and Bible study, readers will see God's instructions to live happily and to their best potential. As God's children we are called to set our hearts and minds on what is above us. We should see the joy ahead of us in His kingdom. Instead of living according to the world's values, we are called to live according to God's vision and see ourselves as He sees us. Our overwhelming problems are small to God, who will show us the way through them. Spiritual growth, Christian inspiration, spiritual warfare, calling, Christian battle, holiness, virtue, walking by faith, look at the unseen, eyes of faith.

Join me in building a bridge. The barriers that we cross over are the many perspectives of our day. Our intent is to reach the world, and to be one. As we put our hands to the work, we will nd out what we are made of. Our building materials will be stones with de ned characteristics. It is through these basic building stones of honor and humility, that we will build over the waters of perspective. Then, we can be used to bring transformation to the world in a way that the church has failed.

This Devotional - Warm Regards, is full of Elvie Guthrie-Lewis' life stories. As her friends, we recognize ourselves in some of her writing; and in what she writes, we are further blessed by the words she has chosen to tell our stories. Our stories: our successes, and even some of our sorrows, are being used to glorify our Lord and Savior. What a blessing. What a joy. What an honor. Each meditative story concludes with Words of Love. As you read, you can imagine what Jesus is trying to say to each of us, what He is trying to teach us in His loving, contemplative way. There is no judgment, just stories to which we can each relate; stories that will warm our hearts; stories that will nurture us, and encourage us, as we grow in our faith. First I thought that I might be in shock or maybe I am numb, but either way the pain was gone. In one minute, the demonic attack that was crippling me and the pain from my son's death vanished. My eyes were clear. I said to my girls, "My pain is gone. Is yours?" I remember how excited we were. It was so instantaneous that our hands were still raised. All I prayed was that sentence. He could have been doing anything He wanted to, but He chose in that moment to be my healer. Does this God of mine love me or what?

  • - A Parable
    av Gloria Jay Evans
    175,-

The Wall is the story of an incident or a lifetime. It is one woman's dilemma or the dilemma of all mankind. The Wall is a modern parable about what happens when we surround ourselves with protective walls of our own making - we shut ourselves in and deprive ourselves of light and love and fellowship. We can build walls so high we can't get out - at least not without help. But there is help, help that sometimes comes in ways we don't expect... The Wall is a very wise little story about people and God and relationships. Read it, lend it to a friend, give it as a gift; The Wall is sure to make you think...and to lift your heart.

Is Job simply a message of the sovereignty and mysterious ways of God? Is Job simply the great "Catch 22" when we don't understand why things are going wrong? Is there a higher meaning that will set us free? What is the purpose of the Book of Job? Has Job confused you and caused you to draw wrong conclusions of the nature of God? All these questions are answered and Job will become a new source of faith and expectancy not a reinforcement of fatalism, confusion and unbelief. Job is one of the most important books in the Bible and it is vital we understand its true essence. "JOB Unseen" is an unveiling of the true mystery of the Book of Job. It challenges the traditional views that have surrounded the book for generations. Views that do not co-exist with the New Testament work of the Cross. Job Unseen completely lays to rest the confusion and misunderstandings of Job and causes it to rest beautifully in harmony with the work of the cross
