Sam Burton abandoned his medical profession for a new career in journalism. His very first assignment, however, requires he interview his fallen past mentor Dr. Joseph Cannon as he awaits his execution. Interviewing him in the maximum-security prison, Sam is confronted with many questions. Why did Dr. Cannon choose him for his final interview? What really happened that night when Dr. Cannon infamously killed his family? As Sam delves deeper into the psyche of this man, he quickly realizes that there are other forces at work that do not want him to succeed in his task. What were they hiding? Sam's investigation reveals surprising truths from a man discarded by society. Can there be redemption in such a man? Can there ever be peace with such tragedy? DJ Denby Jr lived most of his formative and early professional life in Missouri. Having worked at the now retired Jefferson City Correctional Center, this location features prominently in this novel. He is blessed to have his wife Lea as his greatest support and love. Their four children continue to humbly surprise and astound them as they embrace this life. Without their support and patience, this final version would never have been completed.

"My hope is that this book will be a great encouragement as readers see how God worked in my life. I should have been a statistic, but God lead me through the deep waters and valleys of adversity to victory in Him." -Melinda Kreischer Knowing Melinda Kreischer has been a privilege. It has been a friendship that started out as a divine connection. We were both amazed how God had orchestrated the timing of it. Had she not been obedient to what God wanted her to do one evening, she might have missed the divine fork in the road that would change her life forever. Having the privilege to hear Melinda speak about her life was an evening I will not forget. I had a few professional women over one evening and invited Melinda Kreischer to be the guest speaker. Women were on the edge of their seats and stayed that way for two hours. It was a night those women went away glad they were there. It was an inspirational meeting that left them amazed, yet refreshed believing once again that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The story of Melinda Kreischer is captivating. The supernatural DNA of The Christ within her gave her the strength of character to maneuver through the maze of her life to who she has become today. I am honored to have witnessed the rich treasures that have been deposited in her life from the throne room of God. It has been a privilege to walk alongside her these past years and call her a friend. Melinda's story is inspiring and can give you hope as you trust the same God that gave her what she needed in her time of need. This same God that helped Melinda is just a breath away for you, too. Ask Him to help you. He is the same God yesterday, today, and forever. -Dr. Cynthia Woodward, BCM, MMIN., ND, PHD

This book is dedicated to the one I love. He stood beside me in the midst of our trials, he took care of me and never gave up. I also want to thank the people who have been instrumental in my praise of healing. Man makes promises and they fail but God's promises will always prevail. My favorite bible verse is "trust in the lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding" Proverbs 3:5 {KJV} My favorite beatitude is "blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" Matthew 5:6 {KJV} My favorite song to listen to is "without love" by CeCe Winans My favorite book to walk with in my travels is called Gods promises and answers for your life by Thomas Nelson

January 12, 2010 - The foundation of the Haitian Capital ( Port-au-Prince) was savagely rattled by one of the deadliest earthquakes of our era. We could easily hear the screams of the whole population in distress during the aftershocks subsequent to the main jolt. The assessment was disastrous. Nevertheless, the inheritance that must be bequeathed to the next generation depends in many aspects of the knowledge acquired in the laboratory of that humanitarian drama, if the lessons were well learned. Thereby, through this book, I offer an account drawn from various phases of the earthquake, and the extrication of some snapshots of life in the camp, with the hope that after reading, other components will be added to your perspectives of life, as it did for me after that Tuesday, January 12.

Jesus awaits your prayer. Believe in him and you will. PRAYER TO BE RECKONED WITH Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you've singed, you'll be forgiven - healed inside and out. Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't - not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again. My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God's truth, don't write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God.

IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, I GREET YOU, BELOVED READERS! For those of you who are kind enough to have read my first literary work, ìA Saintly Journey Homeî and am a returning reader, I heartily appreciate this. For the new ones, welcome aboard. (God willing, I'll complete two more sequels following this latest one.) Once again, I'm Maxine Rose Gladden, quite a novice at this thing called "professional writing", and I'm enjoying the experience of accom-plishing what the Lord God blesses me to do! As a "Born Again" daughter-servant of the Most-High God, I minister as a street evangelist and novice Theological writer. (I'm also told that I do some decent singing, bless their souls. ) Besides, I'm a retired healthcare provided who is a mother of three, grand-mother of one, all of whom are worth my very life! To an extent, I continue to follow the footsteps of the great John Bunyan, who was blessed to pen both ìThe Pilgrimís Progressî and its sequel ìThe Pilgrimís Progress 2: Christianaís Storyî. Notably, unlike the settings in Mr. Bunyan's literary work, the Lord has blessed me to pen scenarios in a more contemporary storyline. But, my endeavor is to inspire readers to realize God's absolute declaration: "I am the Lord, I change not..." (Malachi 3:6a, cross-ref.: Hebrews 13:8.) Just as stated in my first book, I sincerely believe that if a fellow-saint were to travel the halls of time and visit our age or vice versa, the only difference would be the variance in lifestyle, but not the experience of living a Christ-like holy life! In the company of brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ of the applicable era to assist with their adjustment, the traveler would find both the Living Word (Jesus Christ) and the Written Word (the Bible) ENTIRELY RELEVANT as in their own day.

Most Christians want to deepen their faith by reading the Bible. However, many people become frustrated as they read because they find the Bible hard to understand. For these people, the Bible can seem boring and irrelevant, and eventually they give up trying to read it. Yet the Bible is God's voice to us. Through the Bible, God is able to dispense wisdom, shape our character, reinforce our faith, and draw near to us, but we have to be listening to Him. If we cut ourselves off from this primary means of communication with God, we lose an essential connection that allows us to know God and grow in our faith. Is there a way without a lot of Biblical expertise that we can read the Bible and feel that God is speaking to us? In "Help...I want to Read the Bible But I Don't Know How," author Kent Adrian says "Yes" to that question. He gives some very simple keys that will serve to guide even readers without a great deal of prior Biblical knowledge. Learn how to read the Bible in a way that will begin to impact your life!

When Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray, did they truly, fully understand the benefits that would change their life? Was Jesus's prayer something new, or the unveiling of the promises that God would give to man who would believe? Throughout Jesus's ministry he would reveal truths that were hidden from man. With his compassion, he healed, cast out devils, raised the dead, and provided for those that were in need, which spread the news of the kingdom. The Lord's Prayer Unveiled by William Chandler will encourage readers to take a more careful look at how they pray and why. What is the ability and authority we have in Jesus's name? Are angels our servants? What is the power in forgiveness? Why was the Tabernacle in the wilderness [under Moses] so important for a man to have relationship and fellowship with God? How does this relate to us today? Author William Chandler presents his exploration through biblical events, research, and storyline accounts in an easy-to-read and research manner. He draws attention to the understanding that God's Word will give us the answers in this life as a believer and help us observe the simplicity of Christ and not man's traditions or superstitions. Readers are encouraged to go past reason and logic to take God at his Word. William Chandler currently resides in Tucson, Arizona, with his wife

In Come Out and Close the Door, Sonya Brazzel writes of the emotionally and spiritually trying experience of living with a drug-addicted spouse. Sonya poignantly shares her own story of becoming a mother at the young age of fifteen, and the subsequent ups and downs of living with her addicted ex-husband for nearly thirty years before finally breaking free. From this experience, Sonya speaks authentically about why women stay in bad relationships, examining the fears and hopes underlying this difficult decision. She covers a breadth of soul-piercing topics, teaching the importance of conquering the shame of our pasts and forgiving those who have wronged us. At the same time, she provides wise counsel on divorce as a necessary tool for achieving freedom and healing in extreme circumstances. While not softening the terrible effects of a life controlled by addiction, Sonya points readers to declare and decree God's protection and truth into their own circumstances. Rather than being held captive by the fears and shame of the past, Sonya shows how we can confidently move forward to overcome the despair and destruction that addiction wreaks. Through it all, Come Out and Close the Door points readers to find true hope in the power and love of our Almighty God. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Four nations rose up for war in the Mediterranean arena: three, each different from the other, united to defeat the terrible beast, which was altogether different from the beasts before it. Though each was unlike the other, the first three united against the fourth; in him the beast had eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth, speaking pompous words. The scene is from the Second World War. The nations were Great Britain, the USSR, the United States, and Germany. As a result of the war, the beast was slain, his body was burned, and he was sentenced to perdition, and the Jews were granted their homeland. Nearly two thousand years after their dispersion, Israel was made a nation in a day. During the course of the war, "The Big Three" met in conferences and signed documents to form a union of the peace-loving nations. They had hoped for world peace by their union; however, their idealism failed by overlooking the real problem of sin. "The glory belongs to the One with wisdom and understanding for us who seek Him. He had prepared me for this. I made myself a blank slate, prayerfully waiting for the Lord to teach my spirit; I couldn't have anticipated what He would reveal. Many times God amazed me by the revelations that I'm sharing in this book." Discover the surprising details that have been Unveiled! at last! Joan H. Richardson received Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord while diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in late November, 1969. In 2009, she published an autobiography, her first of four books to date.
