Although there are many books that are written about slavery, and I have heard some people express that they don't want to hear anything about that subject. The author of this book feels that there are still some that needs to read this book, as well as other material and books about this subject. Especially the younger generations. Some people think that Slavery ended under President Abraham Lincoln. After Lincoln, there was a new form of slavery. Some slavery ended about 55 years ago, but there are new forms of slavery going on in this country. It is done in a different way. There are no jobs for black males. The correctional institutions are full of young males. Blacks are slaves to drugs and alcohol. My prayer for my family is that they would be able to see past what the world has to offer and be able to comprehend the width, height, and depth of The Father's love. My sincere hope is that all who read these pages will discover just how great The Father's love is, and respond in the only way we are able - to accept His Son, Jesus Christ as our Savior and love Him in return with all our hearts, mind, soul, and strength.
Do you happen to know someone who doesn't even have a basic understanding of who God truly is, much less what His Word says? The transformation of our country from a predominately Christian society to a more secular society has been quite dramatic. As a society we continue to raise far too many Biblically illiterate children. My purpose with this book is twofold; first I pray to give a greater insight into God and His word from the very beginning to the end of time. Not just for those having no knowledge of God, but also for those Christians who yearn for a greater understanding of their Heavenly Father. Second, I pray this book will get into the hands of those that miss out on the soon coming rapture of the Church to be left behind to endure the Seven Year Tribulation period. As a child he grew up in a Christian home and was saved as a young boy, but like many chose to live out in the world as he got older. True to God's Word he came back to the Lord many years later to become a Born Again Christian in the late 1990's: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22: 6}. Given the gift of prophesy as a child, he is an Ordained Deacon and Sunday School Teacher within the Baptist Church he attends.
