Rejection is one of the most harrowing and common human experiences.  While there are some psychological, emotional, and counseling resources to deal with rejection, I have found few spiritual resources. Yet, in Deuteronomy 1:26-33, the Lord revealed to me 12 ravages or destructive effects of rejection.  These ravages are the residue of the Israelite''s slavery in Egypt.  To be sure, these ravages have many negative effects upon the Israelites, but one of the seldom mentioned effects is the demonic stronghold of rejection.  God said in Exodus that He would execute His judgments against all the gods of Egypt.  Furthermore, in the Song of Moses, in Exodus 32:17, Moses sang that the Israelites had displeased God by sacrificing to demons who were not God.  So, the question becomes, "How do we combat the satanic stronghold of rejection?"In The Ravages of Rejection, we''ll be describing the destructive effects of rejection and then developing a glossary of Scriptures to undergird our primary spiritual weapon:  praise! p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 11.0px ''Adobe Caslon Pro''}Bishop F. Josephus (Joey) Johnson, II, is the organizer and senior pastor of The House of the Lord Church in Akron, Ohio.  He is the organizer and chief bishop of the Beth-El Fellowship of Visionary Churches, also headquartered in Akron, Ohio.  He is organizer and president of the Logos Bible Institute, the Pastoral Mentoring Institute, The Ashland/House of the Lord Certificate of Ministry Program and also one of the organizers of Emmanuel Christian Academy (a Christian School from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade.  He is the author of eight books. Bishop Johnson''s calling is to provoke deep biblical consideration of bibical realities that people habitually prefer not to consider. Is rejection ravaging or refining you?

Many religious groups have been influenced by the spirit of the Apostolic Church birthed on the day of Pentecost; otherwise, there would have not been any need for the apostolic doctrine to have  undergone and continue to suffer  the cross bearing message of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Such endurance arms the Apostolic Church with Christ indwelling Spirit to parade across the corridors of time, spurning God''s fundamental saving principles. It behooves every proclaimer, listener, and receiver of God''s grace to analyze the content of Jesus''s declaration in Saint Matthew Chapter 28, verses 19 and 20 with open conscious and submissive intents relative to satisfying God''s requirements for obtaining salvation.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)These truths have been made known to the apostolic pioneers. These trumpeters speak to those whom God has determined ready for acceptance. Therefore, it is expedient that the carrier of the gospel give clarity to the message of God as it pertains to servitude and eternal life. "For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?" (1 Corinthians 14:8). It has been my pleasure and joy to share this message with the world of Christendom. Please stay tuned for my next "Sprinter."Dr. Melvin Bullock, Sr.Pastor of the Fishers of Men Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic FaithPO Box 943 Henderson, NC 27536

The Rapture of the Church Has Been Cancelled is an attempt to expose some of the myths that have been taught about Christianity. Author Walter Mosby discusses the "European Jesus," the changing of the formula for water baptism, the Sabbath day (is the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday?), the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, the Lord''s Supper, speaking in tongues, as well as the introduction of the "pre-tribulation" rapture of the church. This book attempts to separate fact (the Bible) from repetitive preaching and teaching. This book is for Christians who are dissatisfied with "church as usual" and hopes to educate as well as facilitate biblical discussion.

Daughter aged 32, and sons aged 30 and 20.In September of 1973 I traveled to our sister island, St. Kitts to fulfill a contract to construct a family home.  In October of that same year, I was invited to a week of crusade meetings.  Being new to St. Kitts, I wanted to meet some Kittitian ladies so I decided to go.I went and I really did meet a lady.  She told me about Jesus, and as she shared Jesus with me, the rich presence of God was there.  I tried to tell her wait until tomorrow, but she kept on talking.  I tried to move away from her, but I could not move.  It seemed like the Holy Spirit had me stuck to the spot.  That night I gave my life to Jesus. My life was never the same from that night.  I started attending church, and faithfully following the Lord.  I was passionate about God and started growing in the things of the Lord.  Early on I realized that I had a call to ministry.  I attended Bible training for over a year.  I served in the church as a Sunday school teacher, elder, lay preacher, and youth leader eventually becoming the Sunday school superintendent.I attended World Impact Bible Institute for two years and graduated with a Diploma in Christian Ministry.  I am presently preparing myself to spend the rest of my life in ministry as a full time evangelist and author.

Who wrote the oldest parts of the Bible? How old are they? How have they survived across the millennia? Why do dictators, tyrants and power groups fear and hate the writings so much that they have ceaselessly suppressed and banned them and to this day execute people found in possession of them? These are some of the questions addressed in ''The Story of the Torah'', first in the ''Is the Bible a Dangerous Book'' series of commentaries.South African born Beryl Lavender is a former journalist and teacher of English and Divinity, now living in Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom where she divides her time between biblical research and church activities. She is an active member of the 14th century church of St Peter and St Paul, Olney, where John Newton was vicar when he wrote the words of ''Amazing Grace'' and where Henry Gauntlett, composer of the familiar tune of ''Once in Royal David''s City'' was the first organist.

Prayers and Thoughts is a devotional of reflections and prayers written for the healing, support and encouragement of the chronic and acutely ill and for their caregivers. Illness, suffering, pain, fatigue, exhaustion, fear, loss of hope, humiliation, offended pride, loneliness, and a host of other shared physical and spiritual afflictions draw patients and their caregivers together in the mysterious ways of grace and God. In their solidarity of spirit, both patient and caregiver yearn for healing. Prayers and Thoughts helps to satisfy their yearning. Each reflection and prayer speaks of hope and courage, of peace and of God''s never-ending presence and love. They will heal the spirit. These prayers have been said in patient rooms. hallways, family rooms, meeting rooms, lobbies and operating rooms. Embedded in them is the belief that no matter the depth of mystery or confusion in a situation, God is always good and always near. These prayers have brought comfort and healing to many people. They have been printed in church bulletins and pinned to walls in patient rooms and meeting rooms. They have gone into surgery suites. In God''s grace, share them with each other. I pray that Prayers and Thoughts will bring you healing and comfort.  David Rapp is a retired hospital chaplain and an active Deacon in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Do you question your very existence? as you stroll out of bed aimlessly with cloudy eyes, because you know the tears are about to roll down your cheeks, honestly you were not anticipating to see the break of a new day because you are tired, it''s hard to carry on and you are moments away from quitting since the chain of failure, rejection, low self- esteem, regret and guilt refuses to set you free. The world awaits you yet; to embrace it you must wear the mask of untruth that has disfigured your face and left you with a hurtful smile. Everything is dead inside you would give anything to experience something new but you don''t know how, well you are not alone I have been there, I have lived that life, I have been that girl so; in my book I will take you on my life''s journey and you will see your reflection in the mirror of my soul. Also you will know that your fight will produce scars but the wound is the place where the light of healing enters and there you will find the architect with the blue print of your life.

What would you do if you felt like the things you *valued most were being threatened? Would you seek to simply survive the attack, or would you seek to become the threat? As an entrepreneur I''ve learned one very important thing: no matter how good you are at defense, if you don''t learn to play offense...you''ll never win. This book isn''t about waiting to defend, it is about taking the first punch. We are not seeking to weather the storm, we are discussing how to influence and create the weather. The War on Stagnation is won from within because the flow is released from within. At *conception, every bit of potential that you needed, in order to win ...was already living within you. This book is designed to help you understand the most effective and efficient way to defeat stagnation and experience consistent profit. Where there is no flow, there can be no growth, no impact, no profit. Where there is no flow, morale is low, the determination to exercise discipline diminishes and passion becomes frustration. But there is a solution and that solution lies within you, the entrepreneur... you must Evolve."Evolving the Entrepreneur is never a completed work, but an on-going process in which we must stay intentionally committed, or else our product or service will become obsolete." - DonovanDeeDonnell

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 10.0px Times}Does it matter which religion one practices or god one worships? Do all religious roads lead to the same eternal destiny? Are all founders of religious movements to be esteemed with equal respect? In "Christianity in the Courtroom", author Les Brittingham seeks to answer these questions and more, as he takes the reader on a systematic journey of discovering and defending the Christian faith. Les believes that all Christ followers should be prepared to offer intelligent and reasonable answers to those who are questioning the credibility and veracity of their beliefs. In a secular world that is growing increasingly hostile of Christianity, it is imperative that believers step up with confidence to not only demonstrate the reliability of their faith, but also be able to express why Jesus Christ is the only hope for a dying world. In this book, relevant topics such as the uniqueness of Christianity, the nature of apologetics, the existence of God, the reliability of the biblical documents, the problem of evil, and the evidence for the historical existence and supernatural nature of Jesus Christ are discussed in a scholarly, yet easy-to-read format. A compelling case is made that all religions are not the same and that Jesus Christ is the ultimate standard of truth by which all religious thought should be measured. Whether you are a follower of Christ seeking to strengthen your faith and confidence in what you believe, or a skeptic who is asking honest questions about Christianity, you will find "Christianity in the Courtroom" a valuable resource. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 9.0px Times}Les Brittingham is the author of numerous biblical study books including a popular eschatological trilogy: Taking a Second Look at the Second Coming, Decoding Daniel, and Revelation Unraveled. Go back to the times when you didn't have a lot of money, but you had family, friends, and neighbors that would come over and bring the food they had and you all sat in a cozy living room just as the family in the story did.

A path is a trodden way. It may be a lane, road, or course of action. It may be a track with a specific course in mind. Sometimes we travel only to question ourselves if this was the best route. A path may be an action, a course of conduct, or a journey to a destination. The fact is everyone is on a path. I suppose we can call it a journey. It is the journey of life. In the book The Path the author tells a familiar story of one family's journey that appears to end in the most extreme of heartbreak. Four leave a town known as the "House of Bread" due to there being no bread. On the return trip, there is only one of the original four on the path back. Another joins the lone survivor. Bitterness, heartache, loss, and misery accompany the returning pilgrim. On the return home things were about to change. Hopelessness gives way to possibilities. Possibilities lead to trust and then to a miracle. Scott Peck in his book The Road Less Traveled opens with the three words, "Life is difficult." It is true, life is tough. As you read this book it is this authors' desire that you enter into the agony of a Jewish family going to the land of Moab and facing huge difficulties. Life is like that sometimes. Is there hope? Are there solutions? Read with intrigue, The Path, and draw your conclusions. All of us are on a journey. We are truly on a path. The path often leads home! The presence of God in our journey puts a new light on the path. Sometimes the path is strewn with debris that causes us to stumble. Stop and think. There is a providence that leads the way on our journey. In the Path that providence actually leads to new life and hope. Dino Pedrone is the founder of Dino Pedrone Ministries, a family foundation to advance the cause of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through literature, media, and life groups. He is also the Chancellor of the historic Davis College in the Greater Binghamton, New York area. Dr. Pedrone has been in the ministry over 50 years and has written over 20 books and booklets. His ministry has included television and radio ministries. He is a sought after speaker both nationally and internationally. His heart is to reach people with the Gospel and help train Christian workers. He and his wife Bobbi have been married more than fifty years and they have four children and four grandchildren.
