    259,-

Daphne Chick received an invitation to the grandest experience possible at the age of 22. Forty-three years later, tried and tested in the fires of Christian experience and ministry, she is still profoundly amazed at the dramatic transformation that altered the course of her life. Daphne now opens her heart to reveal the invaluable lessons she has learned regarding her one passion: experiencing a real and vital Relationship with the living God. Growing up in Los Gatos and Santa Cruz, California, instilled a love for the beauty of creation which she still enjoys in a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. With an M.A. in Political History, 40 years' experience in ministry, her driving desire has been to stand alongside anyone who will listen, and point with awe and wonder to her incomparable Redeemer and Savior. Daphne Chick has done a great work with "For God, it's all about Relationship." She takes the reader through the pitfalls of religion, and then delineates the difficulties and blessings of creating intimacy with God. Daphne lays out the process of relationship step by step like the smooth stones David used to take Goliath down. The stones that bring Satan's bastion of religion down help create a spiritual process that leads us to a life of deep personal intimacy with God. Pastor Bill Swegart, PhD ThD The ocean is made up of water, but the salt content makes it impossible for human consumption. Religion is like saltwater; it seems like water, but it is deadly. I found this book to be like sweet, fresh rain. The refreshing, pure waters of a close Relationship with God are well described and the reader is beckoned to drink deeply. Thank you, Daphne, for the truth. Pastor Richard Hill, Bakersfield Family Church

Tell of My Glory God has sent a word for me to share with his people, He told me to tell the world of his Glory that continues to be revealed over the course of my journey here on earth. My encounter with the Holy One was amazing and overwhelming; all I could do was look at him in awe, with my eyes wide open; and my heart filled with unspeakable joy. I was filled with his presence and overtaken by his spirit and compelled to inspire God's people who may be losing faith, going through life's trials or just need assurance that joy comes every morning. I am Travella Carpenter-Brissett; I was born to Mary R. Hammond and Aston F. Carpenter of Jamaica. I was raised in Belle Glade, FL with my mother and 11 siblings. I attended Glade View, Lake Shore Middle, and Glades Central High School where I graduated. Later I attended Palm Beach Community College where I majored in Human Services. I am married to Mr. Anthony Brissett and mother of 3 handsome young men, two graduated from the University of South Florida with a full football scholarship and the 3rd one is working on his ministry. Building Heaven's Eternal Destination: When I woke up this morning the time was 7: 19 and the thought came to me to get up! Praising the Lord! I opened my Bible, and lo and behold, on page 719 appeared my son's name-Malachi-(the messenger), and inside this entry there was a revelation. Each person who is chosen will see God for who He Is, and will always Be. Determination and Dedication Determination and dedication leads you to your destiny, within the kingdom of heaven, to live in the presence of God forever. The laws of God open our minds-for when they are accepted- they live in our hearts. They govern our ways and protect us in the portions that we don't see but know that exist. He promised not to leave us nor forsake us because of His unconditional love for us. That is why it is so important to build your treasures in heaven, so that they can be poured into your home and distributed as needed unto the less fortunate. All honor, glory, and praise, belongs to Jesus Christ. My final destination with Jesus is my main goal in my life today. -Yours Sincerely, Minister Rickey N. Davis Sr.

Why do things happen to us the way that they do? Why do people die so young, some being born with diseases, while others are dying from them? What causes disasters to happen that takes the lives of so many? Who decides who shall live and who shall die? Does mankind really have a choice in this matter and if so, how do we find the answer? With so many questions, there are so many answers, but there can only be one answer that is correct. What are we humans doing so wrong and how do we begin to fix what we have done within our lives? With all of the different "Religions" and "Churches" throughout the world today, how do we as humans know which one is right and which one is wrong? Where do we begin to even start to ever find God and how will we know for certain when we have found Him? If God is love then why is there so much pain and suffering in the world, and if God hears every thing, then why do some prayers get answered while others don't? Having so much love for God, how was I to ever dream that I would be the one that God Himself would show me and teach me what no other human can ever imagine. To be able to hear God, see Angels and have every prayer answered is easier than you may think. What am I as a human to do who has been given such great knowledge about life, what am I to do with this special gift that God has given to me? There can only be one answer, and that is to share what I have leaned with the rest of the world.

  • av Harold Miller

My name is Harold Miller. I'm a retired firefighter who love's God and children. God called me to work in a children's ministry at my local church. I have worked in that area for the past ten years. I believe children need to be on a solid foundation, which is Jesus, to live in this world today. That is why I wrote this book so that they can know how to get that solid foundation. When children reach the age of reasoning, they begin asking important questions about God. Parents do not always have all the right answers. This book will help parents answer those questions and guide their child's spiritual welfare. "How We Get To Heaven" starts with an explanation for the question, who is God? It then tells about creation and the fall of man. It also tells about how Jesus, the Son of God, came to this world and redeemed mankind. The Plan of Salvation is then explained and how the Spirit of God comes and lives within us. Lastly it tells about how we become children of God and heirs to heaven.

"Our sister, may you become the mother of many millions! May your descendants be strong and conquer the cities of their enemies." Genesis 24:60 Have you ever noticed the similarities of the blessing pronounced over Rebekah before she became Isaac's wife and that of the Abrahamic Blessing? Have you considered God's choices of the women He allowed to minister to Him and represent Him in some of the most important events in His Story, the Bible? Have you taken time to notice how many verses of Canonized Scripture are spoken by women? Are you confused by Paul's presumed restrictions on women's roles in the New Testament church? Have you wondered how you, as a woman, can effectively minister in your God-given gifts and callings? Are you horrified by the oppression and abuse of women around the world? If so, then 'Rebekah's Blessing' is a Bible study written for you, focusing on what God's Word says about women's roles in ministry. For over thirty years God has given Teri Powell the opportunity to live and work with women from diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicities and religions around the world. Her concern for women, especially those who have been marginalized by the world, false religions and sadly at times even the church, continues to be the focus of her ministry. Teri and her husband, Erik were pioneer missionaries in tribal Mexico for more than two decades. Teri has been a pastor's wife, Bible study teacher and sought-after speaker. She is currently the Director of Women's Ministries for Scriptures In Use International, a ministry focused on training oral culture women to effectively present the Gospel through the oral arts of storytelling, drama, dance, poetry, and song in some of the most closed to the Gospel and restricted countries in the world.

The purpose of this book is to encourage us. No matter where we are, no matter the circumstances we are in. There is hope. Hope in the One who was, who is, and who is to come. If you would take a moment to join me in this prayer: Thank You Heavenly Father for sending Your only Son to take my sins on Himself and paid the price with His life; so I can freely come to You as a child of God. Amen Now that you asked Jesus into your heart I pray that you would find a church that will teach you the truth about God's word. I hope you would develop a close relationship with Him and have fellowship with other believers. The best teacher is the Holy Spirit and the Bible.

If God spoke to you twice and gave you the same message both times, would you listen? Would you think the message was important? God Speaks Once, Yea Twice explores God's method of multiple communication in the form of Hebrew Parallelism as found within His Holy Word. God Speaks Once, Yea Twice introduces the non-scholarly reader to the often misconstrued ancient Hebrew writing style known as Hebrew Poetry or Parallelism and its application to promote correct and enhanced interpretation of the Bible. The book provides examples and explanations of Hebrew parallelism within the Biblical text that will not only provoke thought in the reader but will provide evidence that Hebrew poetry and parallelism are more than just beautiful words and clever arrangements. They are in fact important keys to unlocking mysteries and hidden insight embedded within the eternal Word of God. There are numerous mysteries still locked within the scriptures just waiting to be discovered by those who truly seek and this book equips the reader with a basic premise that can be applied and utilized to unlock many such mysteries. The following are but a few questions answered in the book by understanding and applying knowledge of Hebrew parallelism: What are the hidden messages embedded within Luke 1:67-79 and Galatians 4:1-7? Why is God's Covenant with Abraham so important to Gentile Christians today? What exactly is the Valley of the Shadow of Death referenced in Psalm 23 and other scriptures? Joel 2:31makes reference to the sun being darkened and the moon turned into blood. Is this really a prophecy about nuclear holocaust or is there another meaning? Did Jesus actually ride two donkeys into Jerusalem as stated in Matthew 21:1-9? Prepare for a journey of enlightenment into the words of Jesus and the Prophets as we explore God Speaks Once, Yea Twice.

In 1984, a tiny deer missing part of its ear walked into the lives of a family building a cabin on the eastern edge of the Texas hill country. Over the next 21 years, that deer changed the lives of everyone she met. They named her Rosey. Rosey the Nosy Deer. And she certainly earned her nickname. Rosey inspected all the new construction in the neighborhood, participated in family gatherings, made suggestions about what to plant, and, of course, sampled every edible object in sight. She even hired human babysitters for her young does. This is the incredible true story of an orphaned deer who created her own new family by adopting the residents of a small rural neighborhood. Along the way, she taught them valuable lessons about faith, hope, and love. Martha Knight lives near Georgetown, Texas, in the cabin she built when she and her family first met Rosey. To this day, many of Rosey's deer descendants live in the surrounding woods.

We seem to be living in an extremely superficial culture now in the 21st century. The world's perspective is driven by focusing on maximizing the appearance of our strength while minimizing our actual weaknesses. In His Grace is Sufficient, Candace gives her readers, real life experiences in which God has shown Himself strong by purging certain areas of weakness. This purging ultimately produced spiritual growth in her life. Candace incorporates biblical characters and their weaknesses to exemplify how God's grace and power strengthened them. Although the bible commends these men and women for their courageous acts of faith, it does not shy away from their flaws and failures. Candace invites readers to spend some time to reflect on their own personal weaknesses and how God's strength is made perfect in their lives. Candace Edwards is a mother of two children, an Army combat veteran, and a current graduate student at Argosy University in Tampa, FL. She is pursuing a M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is pursuing licensure for the state of Florida. Candace enjoys spending quiet time with the Lord, reading inspirational books, traveling with her children, and participating in various ministries at her local church. This is her second published work, and she believes God has called her to share her past experiences in life in hopes of encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. In the near future, Candace hopes to initiate a faith-based non-profit organization geared toward providing the community with services for both military veterans and civilians. Her advice to readers is to hold on to your God-given purpose.

When we stand before the Judgment Seat of God we will not be asked for proof that fits us for salvation, but proof that we already have salvation as determined by our faith, obedience to God's calling and the works we have openly expressed in this life. Belief is not enough. Belief is merely a mental accent to a spiritual truth. What saves is our willingness to place ourselves at risk for Christ and His gospel.

Milos Solc was a great example. He was not only a noble, diligent, honest, and well educated man but also an exceptional sportsman and an especially great tennis player. He represented our country well while he played in many professional tournaments abroad. He played against the best tennis players of his time like Bill Tilden and Karel Kozeluh. His greatest years were before the 1950s when tennis was not sidelined by the communist regime.I remember quite well when I met him in 1957, as a promising young tennis player, during the Czechoslovak Championship for players up to 14 years old. Our accommodation was in a local college in large rooms for eight players. One evening Mr. Solc came in and suddenly said, "Not all of you can win. How many of you can pray?" We looked at him and did not know what to say. So he continued, "Just kneel down. When you pray you might win a match or two." We prayed, and some of us in fact won some matches. I won the same tournament in 1960.We met from time to time at the Tennis Academy where he was the coach. He shared his masterful experiences with exceptional optimism, and in this way he instilled in us the need to practice hard and to love tennis as he did.Milos Solc preached, praised, comforted, gave away, honored, and treasured everything that is good.Jan Kodes, Wimbledon and French Open Champion Christianity and sports can be woven together in the lives of those who are convinced such relationship is possible. My father proved that a professional tennis player could also become a preacher of the Gospel. His worldwide achievements in tennis and Christian ministry were done by God's grace and to the glory of his Savior Jesus Christ. As you read about his life, you will be inspired to accomplish great things for God no matter what the circumstances. Following the example of my father, helped me become a professional tennis and ice hockey player. When my professional career ended, I served many churches and taught at seminaries.
