Moses was eighty years old when God called him to free Abraham''s descendants from over four hundred years of Egyptian slavery. God has a purpose for each of us no matter what our age. It was during my eightieth year that God inspired me to write this book. I have learned we are never too old or never too young to be used for God''s purpose. We just need to be willing, trust God, and follow His leading. There are three major religions on this earth whose roots are established in the God of Abraham; Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Each of these religions claims to believe in one God. Each of these religions claims that God is the God of Abraham; the Muslims through Ishmael, whose mother was Hagar, the Jews through Isaac whose mother was Sarah, the Christians through Jesus Christ whose mother was Mary, who came from the line of David who came from the seed of Abraham. Who is the God of Abraham? I pray this book will answer that question.God has an immense love for us. He created us in His image. He desires that we know His love, receive His love and show His love to others; that we seek unity with Him and with each other.During hurricane Matthew, Deputy Eric Oliver and his co-workers worked around the clock risking their lives for all of us who live here. In his response to his friend who wanted him to leave and not risk danger and death, he responded that his calling was to help people. Eric fulfilled his calling.Jesus fulfilled the purpose for which He was called. He paved the way for us to truly know the God of Abraham. He paved the way for us to live with Him forever.

Authors: Dr. M. Salomo-Davies and R. DaviesThe National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated reports that more than 2.7 million children, or one in twenty-eight, have an incarcerated parent in the United States. These children are often pulled into the cycle of drug abuse, violence, and crime themselves, following their parents'' footsteps on the path to incarceration. After personally experiencing this unstable social environment themselves and recognizing the transformative power of the gospel to change their own lives, the authors decided to face this issue head-on through a study that combines qualitative research with the personal narratives of at-risk children.Children''s Liberation from Incarceration is the result of their work, providing a model for helping the children of incarcerated parents have victory over adversity through the power of the gospel. This book captures both the children''s stories and voices while presenting methodology for community, church and government support services that divert them from the prison track.Join the authors in their work to give at-risk children healing, growth, and resiliency through the redeeming work of Christ.Praise for Children''s Liberation from Incarceration"I am pleased to endorse the "Breaking the Cycle of Incarceration" model and Children''s Liberation from Incarceration with support from Washington, D.C.-based Prison Fellowship International." Mr. Frank J. • - A Self-Portraiture
av Ray C Van Tassell Jr
    259,-

This book looks into the sufferings of Job, a man whom GOD testifies to be perfect and upright, (as a son of GOD) one that feared GOD and withdrew from all evil. A great deal of attention is given to the fruitless counsel of his three friends who tried to convince Job that his afflictions have come as a result of his sins (But they never told Job what his problem WAS, so he could repent. They took the devil''s part by just accused Job of sin.). Job fully denies their accusations (Job had no idea he was walking in sin as we are sometimes blind about until the Spirit can wake us up) and counters with a testimony of his lifelong faithfulness to serving GOD (is this pride too?) and being a source of good will and righteous conduct to those around him. Two causes of suffering are presented in this study: the one, the sure consequences of a man''s sin under the principle of "You reap what you sow." The hidden purpose of this brand of suffering is "for the perfecting of the saints to become an overcomer of all sin and be led by the Spirit of GOD." The other reveals the purpose behind a man suffering for righteousness'' sake. At the end when Job comes face to face with his Creator a miraculous change takes place in his life. All pride and self-righteousness are stripped from him from the suffering it took GOD the Father to get Job''s attention to cause Him to repent and turn from the self-righteousness he was walking in (Job 32:1). Because of his deep repentance GOD raises Job up as an intercessor for his accusing friends, and He restores all to Job that was lost and then some.

If you are struggling with addiction, or have a loved one who is struggling, this book will encourage, inspire, and challenge you to fight the good fight of faith against this terrible disease. I know how very tough this battle is for families. There will be times when you feel like it is impossible, and you will never make it, but I also know nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). I am sharing our story in hopes that someone will find a place to begin-to surrender his/her will, look to Jesus Christ, and learn to trust Him as your higher power. "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls." ...Is based on the Holy Bible. Representing a new and innovative genre of Bible literature, this scripturally-based yet fictionally-portrayed book is about twenty-six people, written from the perspective of those who were directly or indirectly involved with Jesus the Christ. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were spectators who participated in the miraculous events associated with Jesus'' life. Their stories, completed in the first century, are eyewitness accounts of Jesus interacting with, ministering to, and helping people. Since then, millions of people have read, studied, and been inspired by the four gospels that bear their names. More than 1,900 years later, I reverse Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John''s storytelling perspective. I envision myself in Bethlehem, Nazareth, Capernaum, Jerusalem, the Garden of Gethsemane, and elsewhere. I put myself in the shoes-or sandals-of twenty-six spectators. I profile Jesus'' miraculous and tumultuous life, profound teachings, and astounding miracles through the eyes of these seventeen men and nine women. I detail how Jesus the Christ influenced, interacted with, helped, healed, saved, or delivered every one of them. This book presents God''s Word from their unique perspective.

The Inexhaustible Wealth ...Often people think that God doesn''t exist, and if he does at all, he might be too far away to care about what happens on earth. We often assume that life starts on earth and ends on it, but actually, life starts from beyond and continues beyond the earth stage. The book elaborates on the fact that life is both of physical and spiritual dimensions, of which we''re obliged to know. William of Ockham, in the Dialogus, 1614 Edition, stated: "ignorance of a divine law that has been made known among everyone does not absolve, just as ignorance of natural law does not absolve ..." We generally feel that what matters is to conquer the insecurities of life through amassing wealth, power, education, and other things, but life is more than livelihood. The Inexhaustible wealth satisfies both the physical and spiritual needs of a human being. The book also elaborates on the fact that a human being consists of body, soul and spirit of which the body and the soul describe the person but his spirit describes the spiritual IDENTITY and DESTINY of the person. Our spiritual identity determines our destiny, and our spiritual identity is acquired through spiritual birth, and has nothing to do with our good manners or observance of religious best practices. The Bible clearly indicates that God is the source of the INEXHAUSTIBLE WEALTH: "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (2 Peter 1:3). About the Author Donart Ngarambe received his basic training in electrical and electronics engineering and PhD in computer engineering. Currently he serves as the dean of the School of ICT in the University of Rwanda. Since he got born again in 1982, Dr. Ngarambe has been involved in evangelistic and intercessory ministries. Presently, he serves as an elder in the Christian Life Assembly - Kigali, which is under the Assemblies of God ministries.

Is God pleased with the life you are living? Are you fulfilling your purpose on earth? Have you become what God created you to be? There are only a few people in the world that can answer yes to all three questions. However, there are many folks that can answer yes to obtaining success today, but several of these people will be very disappointed in the future. As you read The Successful Life, you will learn how to obtain success and avoid going to hell. You will also learn how to live as a Christian without being cast into the outer darkness. During these last days on earth, Satan has blinded the people's minds with sex, money, and drugs. Satan knows his time is short, so his objective is to get people to focus on earthly things. Satan understands that if he can blind people from finding salvation in Jesus Christ, hell will continue to grow beyond measure. For this reason, The Successful Life was written. In this easy to read book, you will discover the difference between good success and bad success. You will discover what the successful life is and is not. You will also discover several secrets that will help you live your life to the fullest and bring gratification to God. William "Chill Will" Hildreth was born and raised in Baytown, Texas. In Emerging, through a series of imaginary (some say,"inspired") vignettes, we are drawn into the journey of a weary young girl who keeps moving, but has "lost heart." Deeply personal and beautifully truth-revealing conversations with her Heavenly Father bring forth healing to Jane the adult writer, and to the little girl within her. She finds herself "emerging" from dark confines into "life on wings." Following and identifying with her journey may help heal the readers' inner woundings as well. In the second half of the book, Jane shares samplings of her poetry and paintings created during the "caterpillar" years. Fresh insights and images of the world of nature and the Word of God will increase one's love for both. From a childhood in Mississippi, largely spent in the First Baptist Church of Jackson, through college years at Wheaton College (Illinois), and adult life, primarily in New England, Jane Lauber has been a lover of God, of His Word, and of His created world. As an artist, writer, and teacher she has painted, written and taught in retreats, seminars, and Bible studies for many decades. Jane and her husband Burtis (married over 60 years) raised their two children in Stony Brook, New York where Jane taught art in The Stony Brook School. During that time she had a "one-person" exhibit of her paintings at The Galarie Internationale in New York City. Moving to New Hampshire, they spent over 30 years enjoying life on a farm where the goats, sheep and grandchildren played. Then Parkinson's disease hit Burt and they moved to South Carolina where Jane could be care-giver to him and to his elderly mother as well. But in 2013 Jane was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, (although she never smoked) and they moved to Florida to be near family. Here Emerging emerged and Jane's fight against cancer continues.

Kathryn Irene Stewart, Born: Yreka, California, November 25, 1946. Raised in Scott Valley; attended Etna Elementary and Etna High School. Kathryn was raised to appreciate life in the country; the importance of working together, and using basic skills to make home a comfortable and safe harbor. At age six, dad brought home a piano for mom, and Kathryn's love affair with music began. The ability to play "by ear" was evident as she played for family gatherings, "jam-sessions," with groups; for weddings, funerals and church services. She married Daniel Stewart on June 28, 1963, and raised a daughter and two sons. (June 28, 2013, Daniel and Kathryn were honored by their kids with a 50th Anniversary/family reunion weekend!) Kathryn accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1973. Learning to put aside 'self' and learn to accept all others just as they are, was the beginning of an awesome journey and Spiritual growth. The desire to touch other's lives included teaching basic elements of art to children and adults as well as helping unblock individuals - who for personal reasons could no longer create. Class values were easily compared to the values we need in our lives: God is our Creator - therefore, we were meant to be creative, with the individual tools and skills we possess. Her first published poetry was sparked by special sermons that resulted in awards from the International Society of Poets. as a writer, through poetry and letters to friends and loved ones, Kathryn's priority is to "keep in touch" and respond to those who need encouragement in their lives. This is how "An Artist's Touch" came to be. It is not a big book, but is filled with the love of art and creativity.

As little children, my brothers and I would climb up on our Grandma's bed and ask if she could tell us some stories. One of the stories most requested during visits was Bird with the Broke Wing. I can remember feeling sad that the big beautiful Maple, Oak and Elm Trees treated the poor little bird with the broken wing so nastily when it was probably scared and lonely. But thankfully enough, help was always around the corner with the Pine, Fir, and Juniper Trees coming to the rescue. Even as a little one, I decided that I wanted to be more like the Pine, Fir and Juniper Trees- helping those in need. It is my hope that this little story will bless the next generations of little ones to come as much as it blessed me so very many years ago.
